For her second collaboration with the Akra Project, Rafaella Caniello worked with around 15 artisans in Antananarivo, Madagascar, to bring to life these pieces made from the natural fibre of Raphia farinera, a species native to Madagascar, dyed with certified Reach pigments. Once being crocheted, the bag is decorated with embroidery stitches and fringes.
